CONSTANTIN KLEMM

Constantin Klemm specialises in the often highly contentious area of financial and asset disputes arising following separation or in the context of succession. His expertise encompasses not only matrimonial property law, in particular claims for equalisation of accrued gains, but also other claims for financial adjustment arising under the ancillary areas of matrimonial property law. He also advises on the division and settlement of jointly owned or inherited assets, including real estate. Handling such disputes requires tact and sensitivity, combined with a willingness, where necessary, to pursue claims through contested proceedings and across several levels of jurisdiction. Constantin Klemm is a dedicated point of contact for such matters and for all other questions relating to family and succession law. The same applies to the drafting and structuring of marriage and inheritance agreements, as well as wills, with a view to avoiding such disputes in the first place.

Born and raised in Cologne, Constantin Klemm studied law at Humboldt University of Berlin following an education as a bank clerk and completed his legal traineeship in the district of the Berlin Court of Appeal (Kammergericht). He gained international experience through placements at a law firm in New York City and at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. After his admission to the German Bar in 2017, Constantin Klemm worked at Hengeler Mueller in the areas of litigation and arbitration. In 2020, he established his own legal practice. Since 2025, he has been a Specialist Lawyer for Succession Law. Since summer 2026, he has been part of the MAYDELL FamilyLaw team.

Constantin Klemm finds a balance to his work as a lawyer in jogging and swimming, as well as in contemporary literature.
